Close Encounters Guide Fees

What you will need to provide

1. Licenses for State small game, State waterfowl, and Federal waterfowl.
2. Camouflaged clothing suitable for the weather, including waders for water hunts.
3. Firearm and ammunition.

Guide Fee’s

1.      Goose and Duck hunts - $125 per gun with a $375 minimum.  For weekend hunts, add $25 per gun.  Holiday hunts are a minimum of $475.

2.      Opening weekend of early goose, late goose, and regular duck season is $150 per gun with a $450 minimum.

3.      Private party goose and duck hunts are $700 during the week and $800 on weekends, holidays or opening days. There will be an additional $100 per gun added for parties of 5 or more.

4.      Combination hunts (ducks and geese) are $150 per gun with a $450 minimum.

5.      It is customary to tip your guide if you enjoyed your hunt.

6.      A 50% deposit is required to reserve your hunt.  Deposits are non-refundable.  If your hunt has to be postponed due to weather, then your deposit will carry over to a later date, however; the hunt must be scheduled within one year.

7.      Your balance will be due before your hunt begins!!!

Hunting Times

            All hunts will be in the AM unless otherwise planned.  You will be informed prior to your hunt of the meeting time and place. Hunts may be called at anytime.  This is up to your guide’s discretion.
